Bullet Journals and Endless Boxes

Apparently I’ve been living under a rock, because I’d never heard of Bullet Journals until stumbling across a recommended YouTube video today. Its an interesting concept – a combination journal and to do list and calendar. I like the idea. I started with a day runner, but it hasn’t been as handy as I’d like. I may give this a try, especially before I order more pages for the Dayrunner.

Never heard of it either? Here’s the intro video from bulletjournal.com: https://youtu.be/fm15cmYU0IM

Have you ever tried it? Boho Berry has lots of tips and information on her bullet journaling as well.

Of course, in order to do this, I have to get packed and then unpacked. The extra journals are already in a box, and buying another journal at this point would be a bit stupid, since I’d just have to pack it again.

We’re actually in really good shape. The upstairs is almost all packed, I’m working on the kitchen as we speak (we are eating some really awful weird meals because we’re trying to clean out the cabinets, but I did go to the store yesterday cause I just couldn’t stand it anymore.

We also went strawberry picking with friends on Saturday. Those have mostly been left at the parents’ house in a freezer, since I wasn’t crazy enough to try and can and such in the midst of our disaster of an apartment. Maybe it was silly to go, but strawberry season wasn’t going to wait on our move, and we go once a year and then never buy strawberries again all year. So its worth it. I can always pull the berries out of the freezer in a month and then can things.

Right now, its all I can do to keep myself from going crazy – its only 5 days until the sellers move out and the house is ours!

  1. I’ve never heard of bullet journaling either, although it doesn’t seem to be too different than the notebook I carry in my bag or my old college sketchbooks, so I guess I’ve been doing it at least a little bit.
I’ve had gone strawberry picking too.

  2. I checked out the video and it looks awesome. I used to love paper planners and then switched over to digital many years ago. After seeing this video I may do some stuff over on the paper side that I’m missing by being strictly digital. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
